Renowned composer Yovie Widianto has once again wowed music fans with his latest collaboration alongside three rising Indonesian stars – Lyodra, Tiara Andini, and Ziva Magnolya in a new single titled “Apa Artinya Aku“. The song narrates the story of unrequited love, where someone is seen as just a second choice by the person they love.
According to Yovie, the trio was chosen for their extraordinary vocal talent.
“During the recording process with Arsy Widianto, Mas Bowo, and Dennys Nussy, their emotional expression was truly touching. The most challenging part was during the bridge of the song, but their voices remained beautiful and unique,” he said.
This isn’t their first collaboration, as they had previously worked together on “Menyesal” (Regret) as part of the Yovie & His Friends album project. Arsy Widianto, who also composed the song, shared that the theme revolves around the heartbreak of unreciprocated love.
“It’s simple yet emotional. The song tells the story of someone hiding their feelings, only to end up heartbroken,” Arsy explained.
The single has received an overwhelming response, garnering over 140 million streams on Spotify and 57 million views on YouTube. Its music video, directed by Jessy Sylviani and Bobby Adrian V, is visually captivating and features Michelle Ziudith as the lead actress.
